THE WAY! CLAY POT!

HE IS THE POTTER…I AM THE CLAY!

Isa. 64:8 says, “Yet, O Lord, you are our Father, We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

The potter makes what He wants to make, and I come to realize, in my life what I am suppose to be.

If I am a pitcher, that is quite different from being a bowl, or a cup.

Is it possible for a potter to make an unusable piece of pottery?  I don’t mean, a piece to look at, but a piece that was to be something very special and it turns out, it cannot function for that purpose or for any purpose?

I am made as a cup for drinking out of, but I have a hole in the side at the bottom of the cup, so that all the liquid I put into it, drains out of it.  Maybe the cup could be used as storage for pencils.

We are the Work of God’s hands, and when we find out what our purpose is, we will be able to function properly.

“We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”  Eph. 2:10

We truly have purpose, each and everyone of us.
